Apartamento Lucy is a rooftop apartment in Arco da Calheta.   A home away from home. This apartment has an outside terrace to view the village of Arco da Calheta and the ocean. An apartment in the heart of Arco.

This apartment has two bedrooms: one with a double bedroom and the other with 3 single beds.  A large lounge with Salamandra and a kitchen with all the equipment provided to make meals easy to prepare. A complete bathroom is provided.

 This apartment is perfect for getting around all over  Madeira or up in the mountains. Close to everything.

The neighborhood

This apartment is in a residential area which is calm.  Near the apartment are local bar/ coffee shops that serve meals during the day.  Down the street in the Engenho Velho restaurant that makes regional meals.

Pharmacy, more restaurants and supermarket can be found by the beach which is a 5 minutes’ drive or a 20 minutes’ walk.

Getting around

I recommend you rent a car as Calheta has very few public transports.  The car is parked in the street on a quiet road. If you want to have a relaxed holiday and do not want to travel, this apartment is good as everything is nearby making for a good stay.

Guest access

Guest have access to all the areas of the apartment. You share the entrance with the owner but then you are left alone.

Interaction with guests

We are here to help you with any questions or problems that may arise.  You will have all the privacy.

Other observations

Internet is provided free of charge.

All bed linen and towels are provided, We can also provide a crib and a baby high chair. Mid cleaning done weekly free of charge.
