The neighborhood

The houses on regional road 222 which heads to the well known Rabacal area were there are many beautiful walks. About 30 minutes up hill walk you will find the Levada nova.

Near the houses are some local stores for you to buy any groceries you require.

The restaurant Naye is a 2 minutes walking distance whereby they prepare you a delicious meal.

If you are up to the challenge, you can walk down to the Calheta beach which takes you 30 minutes to walk.

Getting around

I recommend you rent a car as Calheta has very few public transports. The car is parked in the private parking space. If you want to have a relaxed holiday and do not want to travel, this apartment is good as everything is nearby making for a good stay.
