A renovated typical stone Madeiran house with all the modern charm we require.

A newly renovated house in the hills of Lombo de Doutor. The house a haven for peace and quiet looking at the hills of Calheta.

At the enterance you come accross a BBQ enclosed area with views to the ocean. A good place to make some relaxing BBQ during the day or night. A washing machine is also found in this space. Go into an open plan modern fully equipped kitchen, eating area and a comfortable lounge area. A complete bathroom is also on this floor. Air-conditioning on this floor so what irf by any change a little cooler, one can warm the room or on hot days can also be used. The sofa can be transformed to a sofa-bed for a child or teenager.

Up the stairs is a special place of refuge, Double single beds with views to Calheta from all the windows, a big comfortable area. An on-suite bathroom and in a corner a desk for some work to be done or write a special note. The bedroom opens onto a balcony with garden chairs and sun loungers. A wonderful place to spend many restful hours.

This is a perfect place for 2 to 3 persons to unwind.

There is a private parking place at the house.

The neighborhood overview

Situated in the west, this house is in the most sun-exposed area of the Island of Madeira.

About 10 minutes drive away is the centre of Calheta where you will find the yellow sand beach, several restaurants and a supermarket. Near the house is the Levada Nova which can take to the west to Ponta do Pargo or to the east to Campanario.

Calheta has the Museum of Contemporary Art, a fantastic architectural masterpiece.

Jardim do Mar and Paúl do Mar are a 15-minute drive away. These two small villages offer beach, animation and very own beauty.
