Getting around
As everything is close by, sometimes a car is not needed. Many tours can be organised to see the island. The public transport in Funchal and neighbouring areas is very good and time tables can be found on line or at the kiosks by the ocean. A car can be recommended if you like to do things in your own time. A secure parking is available free of charge.
