This area is called Laranjeiras which is the central area for Calheta as this place has our post office, small hospital and some shops.
The nearest restaurant to this apartment is Convento das Vinhas which is down the street If you continue on the ER 222 is a very good restaurante called the Fontes. Very well known to the locals.
Getting around
I recommend you rent a car to get around as public transport few. The car is parked in the parking allocated at the house.
