This is a typical stone building with two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a double bed and a single bed, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and barbecue, all equipped and furnished.  This beautiful home is 10 minutes from levadas up on the hills and 10 minutes from the ocean.

This home is perfect for a relaxing, peaceful  holiday in Madeira.

The neighborhood

This stone home is found in Cakes e Chada, Arco da Calheta. Up the hill is a local restaurant called Requinte do Rochão and down in Loreto is  is Naye restaurant and Amanhecer supermarket.  Close to the home is a typical local Bar where you can taste the “ poncho” which is a madeiran social drink. The house is situated on the street that goes to Rabaçal or a little steep walk to the levada Nova.

Pharmacy, more restaurants and supermarket can be found by the beach which is a 10 minutes’ drive or a 20 minutes’ walk.

Getting Around

I recommend you rent a car as Calheta has very few public transports.  The car is parked in the parking allocated at the house. If you want to have a relaxed holiday and do not want to travel, this apartment is good as everything is nearby making for a good stay.

Internet is provided free of charge.

All bed linen and towels are provided, We can also provide a crib and a baby high chair. Mid cleaning done weekly.
