A warm Paradise with a touch of Africa

Casa Nici a villa in Calheta, this house is a warm Paradise with a touch of Africa. The owners of this house have been South Africans so a little touch of Africa is felt in this house. In a quiet location, only 8 minutes walk to the beach by a newly cemented path that reaches the sea, there you will find supermarket, restaurants and coffee shops. From this área you can do big game fishing or see the Dolphins.

All rooms have big glass doors that let the light in  and dont forget the views.  From every room you can see the ocean and the green hill to the left.  By the kitchen one can see the boats leaving to fish or see the boats going out to see the Dolphins.

This house is a few minutes away from the street that can take you anywhere in Madeira or up the hill to marvel at the trees and levadas in the hills.

The house has a big lounge and eating área with the kitchen conected. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher. A laundry room just off the pool provided with washing machine and tumble dryer. To the outside is a six seater table and a private pool to cool off after a day of walking and a big BBQ área to enjoy a meal under the stars.  Upstairs are 3 double bedrooms, one with na on-suite and another full bathroom with shower. Below in the lounge is a half bathroom.

The neighborhood

This beautiful house is  in a residential area which is calm. It is ideally located for touring the island, with easy access to the via express that takes you to the west part of the island and going up to the Rabacal walking area.

Pharmacy, restaurants and supermarket can be found by the beach which is a 5 minute drive or a 8 minute walk.

Getting around

I recommend you rent a car as Calheta has very few public transport.  The car is parked in a private parking space belonging to the house.

If you decide not to rent a car, we can always organize a Taxi to bring and take you to the airport.

Guest have access to all the areas of the house.

Interaction with guests

We are here to help you with any questions or problems that may arise. 

Other observations

Internet is provided free of charge. All bed linen and towels are provided, We can also provide a crib and a baby high chair. Mid cleaning is provided  weekly free of charge.
