Enjoy the best of the city in this traditional town house located in Funchal above Carmo Church.

This apartment is in the center of Funchal, 10 minutes walk from the traditional market and the marina. It has 2 spacious bedrooms; one double bedroom and two single bedroom. It has one bathroom and a fantastic and ample outdoor space where you can enjoy the good weather and sunbathing or a meal.  The house has a BBQ área which is often used as the weather is very pleasant here.

The apartment is large and fully equipped with all amenities.

The neighborhood overview

We are right in the center of the city, which is the same as saying that there are points of interest everywhere. Funchal Cathedral is 10 minutes away and the Old Town area as well. Nearby you can find supermarkets, shops and bakeries.

In the center of Funchal there are restaurants for all tastes, terraces, museums, gardens and of course the city bay and promenade, ideal to end the day!

Getting around

For departures and arrivals from the airport there is an aerobus stop in Funchal and then walk up to the house.   We can also organise you a taxi.

The house has a parking area so you are welcome to bring a car. Take note that the street is a little narrow .

Guest access

Guest have access to all the areas of the house and garden.  You will see the owner which lives upstairs but she will not disturb you.

Interaction with guests

We are here to help you with any questions or problems that may arise. 

Other observations

Internet is provided free of charge. All bed linen and towels are provided, we can also provide a crib and a baby high chair. Mid cleaning is provided weekly.
